You can easily make a marzipan nougat with grapes and plums, a traditional and exquisite recipe. Nougat is one of the most appreciated sweets at Christmas, and with this recipe you will get a very original one.

Nougat is a sweet that has sugar or honey and almonds as traditional ingredients, but this time we suggest you incorporate grapes and plums to make it more original, you are sure to succeed at Christmas dinner!

  • 1/2 kg. raw almonds
  • 1/2 kg. of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Sunflower oil
  • Dried peaches
  • Plums
  • Raisins

1. The almonds are crushed until they are powder.

2. They are placed in a container and mixed with the sugar.

3. The egg is added and all the ingredients are mixed well until a uniform paste is obtained. Add the plums and grapes, mix so that they are well distributed.

4. Brush the bottom and sides of a rectangular pan with oil and line with parchment paper.

5. Place the uniform pasta inside and bake it for 5 minutes at a low temperature (125º).

6. Take the dough out of the mold and put it to rest for a day in a cool place.
